Cochetopa Smoke passed his great conformation and disposition on to his offspring. His get strongly preserves the genetics of Candy F-320 and his ancestors. Smoke liked people, was bold, filled with stamina and pride. He runs free in greener pastures, having passed on, Easter Sunday 2000. We miss him, but are committed to continue to raise exceptional horses to preserve his genetics his memory and the Candy line.

To that end, we searched for horses of a similar conformation and disposition, free from genetic problems. That search brought us Chiquelo, Radar and Speckled Jet. Three exceptional IBHR stallions. With Radar, Speckled Jet and Caramelo, (a son of Chiquelo and a full sister of Smoke), and Little Bear, a son of Smoke, to use on our herd of mares, we look forward to years of producing exceptional horses.

Smoke was a friend. He loved to run the range with his band of mares. If the Antelope got too close to them, he would run them off, biting them on the butts. It was exciting to see him flying along on their heels. If he was anywhere near the road when you drove into the Ranch, he would be there to greet you and stick his nose in the window.

Call, e-mail or write for extended pedigrees, Candy history, if you have questions, or to own one of these fine horses.
