Rocky had a good day. He and his guide spotted 37 elk at first light, then had a bull they could smell and hear in the timber at less than 40 yards, but could not see. The afternoon hunt had elk coming into the guides calling from all directions, with the result being this bull at 325 yards. Rocky put the bullet through the lungs and heart. |
