2004 Chris showed his dad and friend what beginners luck is all about. It helps that he is a good shot with a cool head. Their guide took them to a spot where he knew the Elk were. They had a bull bugling at first light and after a couple sets moving in that direction with a few answers, the guide had them in the right place. The Bull was headed right at his father, but Chris never gave him the shot.

2005
Chris took this cow the first evening of his 2005 archery season. He, his dad Mike and friend Al hunted on their own the first day and found the Elk. Some calling in late afternoon brought this cow and a couple spikes to them and Chris shot this cow at 10 to 15 yards.
