Curtis had an exciting hunt and shot this nice 6x6 at last light.
Earlier in the hunt while setting on stand in the morning he heard the elk bust out in the timber below. He threw his rifle up and then heard something behind him to his left. Swinging round with his rifle he was face to face with a mountain lion at about 6 feet. The lion, which was most likely after the elk, was as startled as Curtis and ran off. |
