Chris showed his dad and friend what beginners luck is all about. It helps that he is a good shot with a cool head. Their guide took them to a spot where he knew the Elk were. They had a bull bugling at first light and after a couple sets moving in that direction with a few answers, the guide had them in the right place. The Bull was headed right at his father, but Chris never gave him the shot.
