Carli had a great day.
Saturday the day before season ended.
She shot her first mule deer buck and first bull elk. |

The first 7 days of the hunt she tried to get close to a big buck near the ranch and hunt for her bull. |
|
By Saturday she had decided to shoot the first legal buck she saw, so that she could concentrate on getting her bull elk. |
|
Saturday morning we went down into sage country where she shot this 3x3.
Saturday evening found us back up on the mountain where we called this nice bull in. She killed him with her first shot at about 75 yards.
